Our Mission

The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Wisconsin is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.

History

From humble beginnings in 1972, what is now know as the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Wisconsin was born, an affiliate of the Epilepsy Foundation National Office.  The Epilepsy Foundation of Western Wisconsin (EFWW) is dedicated to improving life opportunities for people with epilepsy and their families through advocacy, support & individual and community education. There are approximately 14,000 people in Western Wisconsin who have epilepsy. We help individuals and families within a 22 county radius with the many issues and difficulties from seizure disorders.
